As Things Are....
I’ve worn many hats in the media industry: successful commercial talent, writer, producer, professional speaker, journalist, and guest host. I use my talents in the creation of commercials and corporate videos, blogs and scripts, and in teaching professionals how to present themselves more powerfully during make-or-break moments. In my personal work, I naturally gravitate towards issues concerning women; I create journals and videos about communities which are underrepresented and who often do not have a place in main stream media. These stories are very real to me. The project I'm pouring myself into at the moment is a documentary about the abuses domestic migrant workers suffer at the hands of their employers in the Middle East. Last year I produced a short documentary on Fibromyalgia that was well-received in the Fibro community.
As a successful media talent, I can be seen in regional and national commercials, in videos and on the web, and in national magazines. I also represent several companies as their spokes person. Behind the camera, I produce corporate videos - and sometimes I'm a PA. It all depends on where I'm needed. As a professional and published writer, I create scripts and web content, blogs for myself and other clients, and proofread and edit copy. Lately, I've been doing quite a bit of ghostwriting. As a professional speaker, I work with Sage Presence and other professional speaking organizations. I teach people how to present themselves more dynamically, whether they're in front of an individual decision maker or an entire room full of them. I speak on branding, and help professionals design messages that call others forward.
I'm ambitiously working on furthering my career in Broadcast Media. My goal is to continue to grow, and eventually host a show of my own that covers topics such as life journeys, well-being, pursuits of happiness, relationships, and spirituality.
I also provide top-notch Personal Assistant services. For my clients, my staff and I bring order to the chaos. We organize offices and homes, manage calendars, do personal shopping, pick up clients and their guests at airports, entertain their guests, send and receive packages, attend social events while representing their companines, write and proofread copy, bring coffee, and make their lives much, much easier.
